As a child he went to court with his father and spent a good deal of time in his father's office. He still remembers being a teenager when his dad called the house and asked him to go photograph an accident that had happened around the corner.
He has now been doing the work himself for over 30 years.

Background
Jordan is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law. He worked for the New York State Attorney General's office before joining his father's practice, and the two of them worked together in Mineola until his father retired.
Jordan moved the firm to Freeport, where he added Spanish-speaking staff to serve the surrounding neighborhoods. He represents injured people throughout Nassau and Suffolk County.

Reaching out to help people is a large part of why Jordan went into this work in the first place.
In law school he volunteered giving free legal advice to homeless people. After September 11th, he volunteered helping families apply for compensation funds.
That instinct is still how the practice runs. Clients speak with Jordan directly — the first phone call, the negotiation, and the resolution — rather than being handed to a case manager whose name isn't on the door.

Away from the office
Jordan has a busy home life with his wife, three daughters, and two Golden Doodles. He is an avid Mets and Giants fan, plays poker, and listens to a great deal of Grateful Dead.
